Leather Mold Problem Continues

I responded to the post by Yosh earlier this year and thought I had my problem resolved. I have this 30 year old bike jacket that is in great shape but I can't get rid of reoccurring mold. I use Lexol for a cleaner & conditioner and it seems to do a good job. The leather is nice & soft but Lexol isn't really the product to use to get rid of existing mold. I was told to use a 50% alcohol/water. That seems to get rid of it but it comes back. I no longer keep the jacket in a dark closet but hanging in my gun room. I need to find something that will kill this mold. Any suggestions guys? Thanks,

Sunshine. Leave it out for 2-3 hours on a hot sunny day. That'll kill most of the mold.

At the horse barn the daughters rode at the cure was a wipe down with a mild bleach solution. Test it first though o make sure it doesn't bugger up the color. Maybe try a Clorox wipe even.

Hydrogen Peroxided will kill the mold. Then hang it out in the sun on a hot day to make sure the spores are dead.

You will need to rub the leather down after this process with an oil, as suggested above Ballistol will do it.

When I lived in Florida, everything leather got mold. A wipe with vinegar not only removed the mold but helped prevent it from coming back. And vinegar did not change the color.
