Kwanzaa have you lit your Black and Red Candle yet? Hurry

This is the day to celebrate the 2nd principle of Kwanzaa; Kujichagulia which they say means "self determination" or To be responsible for ourselves. To create your own destiny.(Not really but it close enough)

What a load of crap[xx(]

I work in African and I speak Swahili pretty good. Kwanzaa means to go first, Kujichagulia roughly means "I'll take care of that".

No one in Africa and I mean no one celebrates Kwanzaa. They have no clue what it even is.

Why would the stupid principles and other crap be in Swahili? All the Africans who were brought to the new world were from West Africa, they don't speak Swahili in West Africa(at least to any extent and especially at that time).

Swahili is a made up lingua franca of East Africa with local dialect words, English words and lots of Arabic. It is different in every country.

In West Africa they speak what is known as Lingala or another Bantu derivative with French and Portuguese words mixed in because there was no Arab interaction.

So light your candles and know you were duped by a con-man who is also a commie...........

I will tell you about the 3rd day of Kwanzaa tomorrow. Get your lighter ready because we have to light another candle[:X]

Sam you are giving us facts. What do facts have to do with anything. You should try to understand the emotion, the feel good part of Kwanza. That's what is important. [:)]

Ricci here is another fact about the pinko raycist who invents this load of crap.

Karenga concocted Kwanzaa in 1966 as a secular, ?nonreligious? pan-African holiday. At the time, he was a twentysomething graduate student living in Los Angeles.

The seven principles of Kwanzaa ? perhaps your grade-school child has spouted them to you ? are: unity, self-determination, collective work, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith in ourselves.

These seven Kwanzaa principles are identical to the seven principles of the infamous Symbionese Liberation Army, the murderous, bank-robbing gang of revolutionary terrorists who kidnapped newspaper heiress Patty Hearst in 1974.

A U.S. Congress document from the House Committee on Internal Security lists the Symbionese Liberation Army?s seven principles as: unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative production, purpose, creativity and faith.

During a 1975 bank robbery, Symbionese Liberation Army members murdered Myrna Opsahl, a bank customer. The 42-year-old mother of four bled to death on the floor of the bank.

The guy who made up this garbage is Maulana Ndabezitha Karenga(Otherwise know as Ronald Everett) He was the leader of a "Cult" and was charged with torturing 2 of his female followers. His group also killed 2 Black Panthers. He was found Insane in 1971 and was locked up.

While inside he earned his PhD from USC[;)]

I did a three week training stint with a few of the early LA SWAT guys who dealt upclose with the SLA. (Several were recognizable in the grainy tv footage.)From listening to them (and learning) there?s no question the SLA were a 100% domestic terrorist org. Good riddance, hope they suffered appropriately before the house caved in during that firefight.
This Kwanzaa crap is just that, a steaming pile of excrement and PC nonsense.
