Problem with website

I am experiencing a problem where ctrl+click on the link causes the new tab to open immediately instead of in the background. Today is the first time I have experienced this, and it is incredibly annoying, and slows my search ability tremendously. I am using Google Chrome. I have also read where some websites will hijack the "open tab in background" feature in the browser. There isn't a setting to change that will allow me to fix the issue myself.

Was the website recently updated?

They fixed the issue with the way Chrome rendered the website. Thank you!

Negative...back to the same issue. I'm guessing a trojan horse, which would take relevance when you click on a certain advertising link, unkown which at this point.

Here is what has changed - yesterday when I alt-click'd on my saved searches, the new tab would jump to the front. Now those searches are going to the background as they are supposed to do, but when I click on those searches and select an individual auction by alt-click the item jumps to the front instead of opening in the background. The significance is, what if someone clicks on an advertisement on accident? Now they have automatically opened a rogue website.
