I've been to a goat ropin, two county fairs and a precher beatin', but I ain't never seen nothin' like that. Reminds me alot of when the new folks moved into the white house.
I think I'll just pull my pants up and go home now.

Great concept with .30-30 ammo being abundant as heck(at least here) and cheap to shoot......would make a good zombie gun I guess.
I do have to agree with most of you though that if is FUGLY.
Just checked their site and if you click the small arrows by the picture, they make it with or without the muzzlebreak, as well as in a .22LR. Apparently they think they are going to sell a bunch.
Ya know, it's so ugly I might just have to get one, just for the look on the other guys' faces at the range. It's kinda like having bragging rights for the ugliest dog. [:D] Of course, it will need some dohickeys to clamp on to those naked rails. Laser, night lights, ACOG sight, bipod. Yup. That would be fun to uncase at our local range. [:D]
Something a Terminator might be packing in the 1880's [:D]. Or they should've had one in "Cowboys And Aliens".
I would at least have had the Pic. Rails further out. Also that shoulder stock looks like it'll snap and get you in trouble with the BATF.
Gotta admit........ I want one. But I am a huge Lever Action fan. I do, however, 100% agree on the Picatinny rails needing to be moved further out on the mag tube.
On the other hand, imagine an AR-platform chambered in .30-30, using Hornady Leverolution cartridges........

now that i could live with. but i doubt there would be enough demand for it to make a profit.
after all, the .308 ar15's have that market covered pretty well.
if mossberg wanted a tactical weapon, the should have done a lever action 12 gauge.

I would guess the target market for firearms like these is 18-30yo males who live in the middle of the city their parents basement and playing Call of Duty.
fixed it

I'd order one today if they would've thought to put a bayonet lug on it [xx(][B)]
quote:I will be using a picatinny base with a see through 30mm mount and a Vortex red dot, tru-glo iron sights, parkerize the gun with synthetic stocks. The barrel will be cut down to 16 1/2 inches with a target crown recess. And I will lovingly call it a TLC, Tactical Lever Carbine!
Way to go Wartiger. We have you to blame for this.
