Digital or the old type mechanical electric clock? Most of the old type have an adjustment to regulate the speed like a regular mechanical clock.

It is a GE 7-4807A. I sort of agree with Merlinn because I'm in a Rehab Center to get my legs and balance back in order and it was in the room when I got here over a year ago. As they say in this area: If you ain't ***** when you get here, we'll try and make you that way by the time you leave. No kiddin, it is a great place with a lot of fine people here, both residents and workers. There are a bunch of power outages in the area when it storms, can the surges cause this?

NO NO 60 CYCLE AC makes the clock run correctly 60.1 cycle will make the clock run fast UNPLUG the power & run on the battery see what the clock runs Correct/ FAST /SLOW .

Get one of these for about 20 bucks. Shows you the current draw as well as voltage and Hz. Super handy. We always take one to trade shows to make sure we wont blow the breaker....

Have to wait til tomorrow to try the battery trick cause it's plugged in behind the other guy's bed and he's asleep. Different rules in this joint. Will check on the meter. Thanks.
