Boy are people desperate to get rid of there excess animals now days. I have less than 20 chickens on my old farm and I am a happy chicken farmer right now. I am old and do not want more.

In the last month I have had one horse and one pony offered to me and 2 cows and tons of ducks and rabbits and lets not forget the goats. Probable 5 goats offered. All for free, all I have to do is come get them or they will bring them to me.

Well someone did a drive by drop off of some rabbits so now I have about 5 of them to raise now.

I am thinking of taking a local add out in the news paper telling them I am not a drop off point for your farm animals but I am sure if I did I would have a heard of every animal for Noah`s Ark by sunrise the next day.

I think I should start a farm again for unwanted animals and anyone who wants to drop there animal off can as long as they pay me for my time and food to take care of them.

Darn, I am almost pissed right now...............................

You may want to reconsider the "No Drop Off" ad, it may bring more than you have ever turned down. Sometimes, things just work opposite of what you want.[:)]

There's good quick money in goats round here. Hispanics pay cash for em. Let a couple Mexican ladies get hold of one and its some good eatin.

Heck Duce1, it sounds like you don't need to buy groceries for a while.[;)]
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

my "farm" was called "Green Acres" like the old TV show. I started with 30 chickens and 2 bunnies.
in the first year there, i had 20 chickens drop off, 3 ducks, 12 bunnies and a goat dropped off. no warning, nor permission given.
the goat was tied to the mail box box when got home one night.
it was a drive by goating........
over the next couple years, 12 cats, 5 dogs and a malnourished bucket calf.
folks think if you have a few critters, you must want more....

You should go ahead with the ad but with a different angle.
"To whoever dropped off the bunnies, goat or chickens last week THANK YOU!
    They were delicious."
I bet nothing ever gets dropped off again.
