8" so far and snowing to beat the band. Suppose to snow into this evening. I sent everyone home and it took me 2 1/2 hours to go 22 miles. Nothing but ice. No one was on the road, so that was a good thing. I couldn't go over 15 mph. Oak

It came down hard and fast here for two hours creating a nightmare on the roads. It took me twice as long to get home. Glad my PI has AWD she zipped right up our mountain. Thank God it rained all night instead of snow.

I miss my years living and working on tbe mountaintop. First snow of the first winter was a blizzard. Ran the front end loader up and down the road above the ski runs for 18 hours straight. By the time the storm broke we had six feet of new snow.

My employers were utter a-holes but the location made it worthwhile.

It never really snowed here in Washington this season. I wish it had. I actually LIKE the snow.
