Wingsuit flies next to a B17

That would have ended very badly indeed if he had gotten anywhere near the trailing wingtip vortex of the B-17. One of the first demonstrations we instructors gave to our jet students on their first formation flights was how powerful that vortex is - let yourself drift into it from even a small plane and you get violently thrown into an out-of-control corkscrew. The bigger the plane, the bigger the vortex.

Offcourse it would have to have a gunrack for a Benelli Nova, and a compartment for some extra ammo, but I take it that's optional.
I guess you could always call it self defence.

That guy has a lot of guts and is very innovative.
I know it's not permitted here, at least from planes or helicopters - but I'm not sure about a one person jetpowered wing.

Not as ridiculous as it sounds at first. I used to go paragliding south of Reno and it was not too uncommon to attract the unwelcome attention of a hawk or eagle. My buddy got a nice 4 inch rip in his wing fabric from a pissed off redtail hawk. [:D]
