Looks like I might be done...

Done with smokeless tobacco, that is. The last few days, I honestly have had no desire to keep packing my lip full. Used to be a can a day, easily. Not sure if it's the antibiotics, the pain pills, or just my body saying "enough is enough", but it feels good to be done with it, finally.[:)]

Its a tough nut to crack, but you'll feel better. I gave up DIP 4+ years ago. there are still occasions that I want to buy a can, but I just have to remind myself that I don't want to have to go through quitting again. Just don't cheat!! You take one dip and you'll have to start the quitting process all over again!! good luck!

[}:)] No, seriously, just kiddin', 35WhelenClassic.
If you think it's time to toss the can then it may be, good luck to you and be well.[;)]

Yep, that's when you throw the can far away as possible, burn the others and say screw it, I'd rather buy ammo. Don't think about it, just do and say I'm done.

Dad and my uncle both quit smoking cold turkey.

Just a pinch between your cheek and gum. Those tobacco companies have made it sound good for years. They ought to ban that stuff.

Wow. That is typically very hard to quit.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Good luck. I been dipping Cope for thirty odd years and I find it the most addicting thing I have ever done. I pretty much have a chew in all waking hours of the day. Also a can don't even last me a full day anymore, that adds up to about $140.00 a month.

If you're taking pain pills, don't bother thinking about the "new you".

Their job is to fool your brain, and I bet that that's what they've done, at this time.

Good luck quitting/use this to tell yourself that you can go without, AND SURVIVE!

    I hope you feel better, M8! [:)]

ETA: by the way, pain pills work wonderfully, at killing psychological pain, as well. This, in fact, is the reason why you dip, in the first place. In other words, they make the world a better place, without changing anything. [;)]

That's why pain killers are so highly addictive, as you can lean on them, instead, when dealing with all that pains ya.
