My Wife got a turkey out of the freezer today for a thanksgiving/inauguration day dinner with all of the trimmings on Friday. No wonder I married her. Happy thanksgiving/inauguraton day to all. Are we happy in NW Arizona, YES.

Safeway had turkeys on sale for 49 cents per pound. I bought three of them and quartered them with a hack saw. We can now have a 5 pound turkey dinner without all the left overs. We also bought two whole hams @ 99 cents per pound [:p]

    Here's what we're doing:

We started our Quality Assurance Liquor testing program for the Inauguration Party Today!

Gonna make Ceviche with some truly fine Steelhead that was swimming in the Queets River Yesterday.
Soft lil Fish Tacos anybody? SWMBO insists on a Butter, Lemon, Dill Poached portion as well as Jasmine Rice.

Big Pot of Ivar's Clam Chowder, kicked up a coupla notches, with Herbed Butter, Arf n Art, and plenty Sherry.

Took All Four Growlers for filling at local Brewpub: One of a Bitter Double IPA, >8.5%ABV, A Smoked Porter in Two more, and a Nice Belgian Style for the Fourth.

A Generous Black Forest Cake, made with Chocolate of my Manufacture (75% Cacao), with Yakima Black Cherry Jam we made this past Summer.

Cheddar Brats, Garlic Brats, ready to go into the Sauerkraut.

Two different Loaves of Foie Gras.

A Vast selection of Cheeses from all the World. Olives Platter. Pickles Platter. Crisps, Crackers, and Chips. Dips.

    Praline Pecans, Macadamia/Caramel/Chocolate Turtles.

Tomorrow, will raid Two local bakeries for Breads, and Mexican Pan Dulces.

Oh Yeah: @1159, Eastern Time, We're gonna FLUSH! To help Obozo on his way...
