Crazy WOMAN GENE thing...when going on a trip.....

I don't know what it is.....but if a woman is planning on going anywhere, even if it is just for a couple days. The entire house and all the chores NEED to be done. Laundry....dishes....cleaning....shopping for dog food or people food for whoever will be left behind.....even the grass being mowed. It seems that everything becomes a "MUST DO" when you are a woman and planning on leaving the house for any period of time.

Don't worry my wife is the same way[:D] I asked why one time and she explained that when you get back you don't have to worry about it.
Please don't forget to pack 3 changes of clothes for each day of the trip so that you can be comfortable in any weather condition without wearing the same thing twice.
Exactly.....and shoes for each thing....a charger for every electronic thing you carry (and most likely won't use)...a roll of paper towels....a pillow....a full assortment of medications...snacks....and a broad choice of CDs and Books on CD.

A roll of paper towels???? There has to be a story behind that one.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain

I don't go anywhere without a roll of paper towels....they are part of my world now. I have a roll on my desk....in my gun room....by my chair....in my car.... I have no idea how it started, but I feel like an emergency could happen at any time and someone might need a paper towel....and I'll be ready whenever it happens. (We all have our "things" this one is mine.)
Crazy is an official medically proven and diagnosed condition.

I'm sure there are more than a few people that think I need medical attention for something or another....the paper towel fixation would be way down on the list of things that visit would be for though! [:D]
You are not alone. I buy paper towels in bulk packs and there are normally several rolls left from a bulk pack in my work van on any given day. I also have a roll in my Explorer and in multiple locations in my house.
Not around this house. Here, the vacation begins about a week before the trip starts. The closer it gets to the actual trip, the more things slow down.

When my oldest was 2 or 3 and we were on a trip to the mountains. She barfed all over the back seat. (We actually were discussing the event this weekend on the same road ... She is 21 now) MrsFun had packed several rolls of paper towels as we were travelling with several families with small children, They were invaluable cleaning up the mess...
(Most of those families and the kids were with us to see the eclipse on Monday it was AWESOME!!!!!)
I think I could get what I NEED into a small bag.
But we end up with more stuff packed than Lewis and Clark took with them.
