I can't stand Regions Bank...Mikko you told me so!

I freaking can't even get their website to let me send a complaint email in. I FINALLY got in touch with a live person to help me reset my account log in information so I can check my account. I just can't express enough how inferior this bank is to my other bank.

This is the letter I would LIKE to send in to them.

I would like to tell you why I will most likely be closing my business bank account with Regions. I normally do all of my banking with America's First...but my accountant told me it would be best if I got a "business" account. So, I opened one with Regions. I have paid $15 per month for LESS service than I get with my free account that I have with America's First. The fees that I have been paying are crazy when I compare what I get for free with the other bank. Charging EIGHT DOLLARS for every certified check....limiting the lobby hours to 3pm....limiting the amount that I can withdraw from my account through the drive through window....plus the fact that your deposits take 24 hours to post to my account....all of these things are very frustrating when I compare them to my other bank. I can go to my bank during business hours and they are open....not just the drive through. I can go to my other bank and tell them I want $4000 cash in the drive through if I want and all I have to do is sign my name. The deposit slips for my other bank have detailed information....a list of what happened....starting with my beginning balance, a list of every check amount being deposited and followed with a total of my ending balance. Your deposit slips are barely coherent and have little to NO information at all on them. Add to all of this...I have been on hold with the 1-800 number for over 20 minutes trying to get someone to help me log onto my account. If you want to compare you are welcome to call 320-4000 this is Americas First's customer service number and I bet you get a person immediately if not within two minutes at the most. I just do not see WHY anyone would pay for lesser service??? I would like to say that the people that work in the branch I deal with are kind and as helpful as they ARE ALLOWED to be. Mark King has been especially helpful and tried to make me happy...but he is fighting a losing battle with the services your bank offers for the money they charge for an account. I just thought someone should point out the inadequacies that I have found. I should have done more shopping around I guess before I opened the account, but I am busy running my business and never thought my banking would ever be a stressful part of my day....such as it has trying to work around your policies and practices.

Thank you, Kasey McKay

    Go credit union.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

    Kasey,
The accountant told my Daughter the same, but said to stay at the same Credit Union. It is a complete separate business account in the LLC's name. The Credit Union waves all the account fees since we have other accounts at the Credit Union. The fee they will not wave is the $4.00 Cert. Check fee, but they will do a Cert. Funds electronic transfer for FREE.

Oh they suck in every way possible.

I love America's First Federal Credit Union.

The lobby hours make sense....the drive through is not a punishment to use....they charge reasonable fees for "extra" services (such as certified checks.)

I sent my complaint email into the personal email of the ONLY employee that has tried to help me at all. I told him to push it up the chain of command because I couldn't get their website to work properly....fitting end to this ordeal with them huh???

I quit Regions about three months ago after 20 years. They stopped my free checking and held up debits until I wrote a check that would bounce.

I went with Pen Air FCU and I have a NFCU account for outside CONUS. I'll never use a commercial bank again.
