    I am pretty sure "some" of those photos might not actually be military uniforms - or even military personnel.

    There have been complaints by a number of Women's Organizations that female Russian and East European police officers are not given appropriate uniforms.

    Those girls...Err,I mean officers, actually work as a sort of Tourist Police. They are selected specifically because they look "like that" and considered to be more "approachable" and less threatening than the usual cops. They always work in twos or threes, never alone.

    Even so, they are still trained to the same police standards and they can beat someone up pretty badly with their batons...Although it might not be too bad with them doing it!
