Questionable selling practice

Is this type of dealing permitted by GunBroker?
This seller pulled a rifle from an active no reserve auction to sell it locally. Does GunBroker have any remedy or discipline for such an action?

did it have bids on it? If no bids probably got tired of waiting for some action, other than a last minute token bid.

since the seller did not state that it could be sold locally and it had bidders on the auction then I would say GunBroker should be contacted to take action against the seller for failure to sell item to high bidder.
just because you could doesn't mean you should

Seems to be a rash of this lately. This thread popped up this AM.

Maybe it might be a bit more convenient for the good Capt. to find it. [;)]

Yep happened to me last night. I even went thru the GB checkout when the auction cleared and found out it was sold locally.

I've won auctions and received emails from the seller telling me where to send the money. THEN, after I send the check, he emails back and says "Sorry, I already sold the gun in my shop. Here's your check back".

Unfortunately, unscrupulous sellers abound, just like buyers who welsh, too.
