what you have/want to see landscape wise

What do you have in your neck of the woods landscape wise that others would like to visit and where would you like to go and visit that is not near you??
For me I'm pretty bored with the Pacific Ocean and would love to go see the the rocks in Utah and other parts of the SW US.

That would be good, plus I have always wanted to go to GNP in Montana, as well as take that Alaskan cruise.

The Saginaw Bay here is real nice and world class walleye fishing. Most of Michigan's woods are nice, especially the pine and birch forests.

Texas has some wonderful, scenic places. Too bad they're all a long way from here.

Living in SoCal the only scenery we have are people, tons and tons of people. So for me the scenery I would like to see would be anyplace without people, it would be nice to be alone with just my wife and kids for a while

    Nothing to see here!
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Looks like the New River to me, close to the steel arch bridge over the gorge on 19 maybe. Beautiful scenery out there.

What I originally thought, but he said not well known.
Also the pic doesn't look high enough to me.

If that's what it is, I have been there several times.[:)]

Well, it looks like its going to be a brisk winter.

I don't live there... And it's been a few years since I visited.

Go do some fly fishing on the flats in south Florida.

The mountains in the Carolinas are a sight to see. Chimney Rock where the filmed the Last of the Mohicans, Lake Lure where they filmed Dirty Dancing and of course Asheville and the Biltmore house.

Then we have the coast line. Beautiful beaches, great fishing.

Me, I want to go to Main and see all those little fishing villages. I pretty much have seen most of the rest of the country.

We have some corn and soybean fields and lots of nothing, but in the spring time there are few places that are more beautiful. The thing is, there is beauty everywhere if you look for it.

This is a picture of Lake Perry in beautiful flat Kansas.

Another pretty place is the flint hills in the spring. Everytime I cross them I think of what they looked like to people in covered wagons.

    Montanawinter.jpg

I think this was taken on Big Salmon Lake since there aren't any conifers in the picture.
