question about the 938, anyone have one? if so is it worth the money? I would hate to buy one and have to send it back to factory every time I tried to shoot it.

    I have a 938 SAS.

The good...very accurate little pistol, runs good except with my extended mag. I have two flush mount mags that run fine. I use it for pocket carry mostly and a back up pistol. Sig Lite night sights are good.

The bad...I change the grips and ran into a problem where sporatically the hammer would not stay cocked after every shot. The pin on the safety worked it's way partially out, so I am not sure if this created the issue. I put the factory grip panels back on but haven't had a chance to shoot it for function yet to see if the problem has been remedied. The safety is a bit hard, it definitely takes a positive pressure to move to fire.

It is also a bit of a PITA to get the recoil spring assembly back in, because it has so much tension.

Until this problem happened I carried this gun all the time, and everyday at work as aback up.

Probably the best tiny 9mm pistol available in my opinion. I bought one for myself cause the customer who bought the gun just could not shoot it. He couldn't shoot any handgun and refused any advise. I shot the gun with him on two occasions and was so impressed with how well the little pistol shot I just bought it back from him.
We have sold a lot of note the 938 and the 238 and he was the first costumer who complained. I seem to remember one bad extractor but that's it. We run both guns (238&938) in the rental cabinet and except for changing recoil springs both are running strong after a lot of rounds.
As always it would be best to find one to shoot before you buy. Good luck.

I have one. Probably 150 rds through it without a hiccup.

My dad bought a few thousand rounds of a factory reload in 9mm. Absolute garbage. Missing primers, bullet looks like was pulled with a pair of pliers, and when shooting the gunshot report varied greatly. Bang bang bang pop. Only thing this ammo is good for is to practice clearing a jam or other malfunctions.

My dads sccy won't handle this ammo. Out of a 10 shot mag 3 duds and a few fails to feed or eject. My fnh-fnp 9mm handles fine for the Most part. 16 rd mag maybe one fault to feed in 3 or 4 mags. My sig 938 is pretty much the same.

My wife has always liked revolvers. After handling and shooting mine she wants one now.

I have both the P938 and the P238. Both function perfectly, are pretty accurate, and are a breeze to conceal.
