I went to the range today to shoot a little trap .
No one showed but me .
Only good thing was the national Guard had been in to practice and had left several hundred pcs .of Lake City brass on the ground .
Wish.
I got tired of picking it up after 600 rounds .
Best haul in at least a year .[^]

At least your local National Guard actually gets opportunities to get out of the armory for some trigger time with live ammo more than once a year.

Yeah I ran around 30 rounds through my G19 in my home gun range. Nothing unusual, just making sure I remember which end the bullet comes out.

After church and lunch and science fair project work, I had my 12 yo son help hold and mostly observe while I changed the extractor and bolt handle on one of my 10/22s. Replaced with Volquartsen parts. Loaded up 3 - 10 round mags and 1 - 25 round mag and went across the road for a function test. Had one reverse stove pipe. You know, instead of having the brass stick out hole first, looking like a stove pipe, the brass is reversed with the head end sticking out. (Am I the only person that thinks that makes sense?) Seems like one failure too many to me.

Let it get broke in first before you flame it
