22lr at Academy

My local Academy had American Eagle 22lr at $2.19/box of 50, and $2.29 for Federal Champion in the blue box. They had quite a bit of each, but a 2 box limit. I know all stores don't have the same stuff but it was nice to see something other then Aquila on the shelf.

My oldest son told me he was in an Academy and when another customer asked about .22 ammo he was told they did have some but they were keeping it at the front desk.

So I have confirmation that at least one regional (not local to me) store had some in recently. I still haven't seen any but maybe there is hope.
