The little hole is about 3/32 size. How to repair?
A machine screw might snag and rip a larger hole.
Bolt with cap nut?

Cheap and effective.
Failing that, drill it round and use an aluminum rivet to eliminate galvanic reactions.
You also might want to think about using a 'large flange' rivet too.
Rivet.
+1. We use a dab of 3M 5200 on them also, works great.

Duct tape is always an alternative. Rivet is best, almost any repair is shown in detail on YouTube. PS: The guys rivet gun,, NICE, need to get one.

Do it in clear and have a fish finder
Better solutions have already been offered.
Let's see, 2017 minus 1995 equals....
Don't forget to carry the ought,
It's been temporary fixed for a long time and still don't leak.
When I lived in Virginia Beach I had a ten footer that had more fiberglass on it than aluminum. [:D]
What on earth are you looking for? There is no wrong answer.
I would probably make a fiber glass patch on the inside and outside.

Not if you use the 1983 and older penny.
Solid fix.....

I agree, ice has it. Don, you are sick (but funny).
no even that funny
back years ago when I had & used a aluminum boat : had a hole ?
Fill with rivet : then epoxy ( I used accuglass from brownells ) on BOTH sides of rivet !!! never had a problem with it !!!
Good Luck !!!

Rivet
Rivet with JB weld
Fill with aluminum welding rod and heat until welded.
ESP 309 heat cure epoxy.
Flex seal as a last resort.

While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
