What should a sprong replacement kit cost and what should be a reasonable price to have the springs replaced for a lighter trigger pull?
Thanks

It lightens the trigger but it makes the trigger reset non tactile.
These guys have a lot of packages and the prices are not too bad

The best thing you can do to help out the trigger pull on a BHP is get rid of the Magazine disconnect.

Buy these springs. Remove magazine disco, install 26lb mainspring, 18.5lb recoil spring, and lighter sear lever spring. Do NOT mess with the sear spring! The sear lever, trigger lever, sides of the hammer and the ejector can all be polished to smooth things out. I recommend a Cylinder & Slide wide trigger also. The factory sear/hammer engagement can be polished, but it is easy to remove too much material with stones and cut through the surface hardness. If you are not competent working on firearms do not try this yourself. Removing the trigger pin and replacing the mainspring on a BHP can be very difficult and will cause damage to the pistol if you are not careful. BHP's are excellent pistols, I carry a BHP MKIII I converted to .357 Sig daily. Rarely is any BHP part "drop in", everything needs to be fitted.
With some extensive mods the BHP can have a trigger that rivals a nice 1911. With the above work I described most shooters are very content, it will usually result in a 5-6lb trigger pull.[:)]
