Tim Garret's gun show at the FT Smith, Arkansas Fairgrounds was in my opinion a great success. There was a good crowd outside the door at opening and a steady flow of incoming traffic. I didn't see any empty tables, just a few odd ball stuff tables. There was a lot of reloading supplies, bullets, powder, primers, and cases for sale. The prices seemed to be lower than in the recent past. Rifles and pistols, new and used were priced more reasonable. Talking with some of my dealer friends led me to believe that there was more money flowing around than earlier this year. My friend bought a new Remington 270 bolt action, and he said he paid 100 bucks less than the store front shops in the area.
