    We saw him in concert a few years ago. The show was pretty sad, as it seemed his mind as well as his voice were leaving him. Surprised to see he is still touring, frankly.

    His eyes lit up, and he found his voice, however, when he jumped into The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald.
    Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

    ..I listened to that and "Sundown" a lot in the mid 70's.
    James Taylor comes to mind also. (mixed in among the acid
    rock)

    The long version, where they tell you every crew members name, with the ringing of a bell, is one of my old time favorites. Just got done reading the history of the EFG. Cool how they recovered the bell, inscribed the names and put it back on the wreck. Thanks for posting. Oakie

    I love that song. Have spent many hours driving along the shores of the big lake, it looks like an ocean. Scary looking.
