it was probely done years ago before they rose in price,i remember seeing them in pawn shops for 20-30 dollars in the eary 60,s. i bought the nicest german lugar i ever owned in 9mm with ex holster with all the goodies for 40.00, in 1961. according to garp.

Another "Fitz Special" or as I call them, butchered and ruined guns. Guy on another forum cut up a Colt Official Police just a few months ago making one of these abominations. I hope there's a special place in Hell for john Fitzgerald. He inspired thousands of people to ruin good guns (not to mention rendering them totally unsafe).

Some of those Fitz dummies found that the half trigger guard could be accidently bent blocking the trigger return making the gun useless. It was a stupid idea anyway.
