....in 40 years of marriage, my wife has never been able to give me a surprise birthday party without me rattin her out.....Well folks, the streak is over...she enlisted some close friends from all over the states,and they all conspired to give me my 75th birthday surprise party.....my secretary-bookkeeper aide her in the conspiracy....and the North Carolina Gang was in vogue also...My son aided and abated with the ruse as well....The food and liquer was outstanding with Mr. Jack (Jack Daniels) in attendance (Motlow family)..as well as The Crown, the Grey Goose, and wine from the Childress Vinyards...Excellent roast beef, and marinated pork tenderloin, Shrimp and Spaghetti....marinated pickled Shrimp....assorted braised and stewed vegetables...The Malbis Plantation house hosted the event....Would like to know how she pulled this off on the most alert person on this forum.....???....[:D]

....nope! My 75th isn't until late December......LOL! ...if it had been anywhere in the fall.they would not have kept me out of knowing....My wife is the greatest...especially for living with me....LOL!!![:D][;)]

Thanks folks.....I wish I had thought about pics, but I was busy glad handing my friends,and people that I hadn't seen in years..I will get some pics later I hope and will post....The Plantation Hall was very nice and old south...Food was unbelievable! Shrimp and Spaghetti is my favorite seafood...Wish all of you could have been there!
