I have seen deer lick/eat on a salt block for hours.The salt won't hurt them.Potatoes, I don't think are bad for them either,I KNOW they LOVE sweet taters and Yams. Is it the oil in them what's bad for them?

I feed them apples, they love pears and they also like taters. Corn is the #1

the food won't hurt them. the act of being people-dependent will eventually kill them unless they are in a controlled type environment
