This is getting ridiculous...

I watched a gun go three cycles with no bids. Finally decided to bid. Yup, somebody BIN right out from under me. I cannot win an auction.

I lose most of the auctions I bid in. I am a complete bottom feeder and proud of it. My philosophy is you make money when you buy it and not when you sell it.

It's like people are sitting on the fence undecided until someone else shows an interest.

Happens to me all the time- especially on E-Pain, so generally, I just use the BIN.

Well, I could bid a million dollars but I have limits on what I want to spend. This damn thing went 3 weeks with ZERO interest until I bid...then BOOM an hour later somebody buys it. Where the hell was this dork for the past 3 weeks? Is there a conspiracy to watch my activities and not let me win an auction? I bet if I hadn't bid that auction would have closed for a 4th time with no bids. Sellers should pay me to bid on their auctions as it will surely bring bidders out of the woodwork and drive up the price.

Doc, it has been my experience watching auctions and bidding in them, that seem people seem not to know which guns to bid on. I have watched several auctions for the same gun running at once or over a period of two or three weeks. One will go several days with no bids. As soon as someone bids, it will get two or three more bids the same day, sometimes within minutes.

I never, ever bid on a virgin auction until the last 20 minutes. More often it works, sometimes it still does not work.

Here are few nice ones under 1300 with no bids:

    These will likely pull $1400.00+

sam06- I'm watching both of those but he will want about $100 for shipping (next day Fed-Ex).

I have no explanation for auction logic. Nobody cared for 3 weeks until I bid. I don't mind getting outbid, but this one irked me. There are greater tragedies...

Keep looking (whisper) watching sale sites rather than auctions.

When I scored my python I was watching two auctions ending with in 20 minutes of each other, virtually identical guns, both described in near flawless condition. I scored mine for $400 less than the other one, I assume because the pics on my auction were not as good. I took a gamble and it worked out because the gun I received could not be any better. The other gun was getting all the bidder attention...thanks suckers!! Timing is a big part of it I think.

Nope. No conspiracy. Also, pay no attention to the Evil Scary Circus Clown in the corner.
