Forecast is for 4" of snow today, followed by an inch or so of freezing rain on top of that. Adult beverage container is full, and gb might be stealing some of my money tonight if my trigger finger gets carried away.....[B)]

Wasn't to expensive...I found a custom 10/22 with the old checkered walnut stock that had a model 52 barrel made to fit it at my LGS. I was able to shoot it before I bought it, and 1/2" at 50yds was the worst it did. $400 otd...........[^]
Now for the adult beverages....Cheers..

If you live in the South it is best to stay home and go nowhere on such rare occasions when it snows.

That is unless you are a Demolition Derby fan.

Unless you are a Democrat. Democrats have no problem driving on ice or snow. Run ten MPH over the limit at least. Speed limits are only for Republicans. OK to blow by stop signs as usual. Be sure to text as you drive about how beautiful the snow is. Stop by the ABC store and pick up your favorite adult beverage. Have a swig or two before you hit the road again. Have fun! Enjoy! [}:)]

Major reason I stopped drinking. Last drunk bidding cost me 900, for a M1 Garand.[^]

That's only if you have 4x4, cause you have traction to go faster. Stands to reason you can stop faster too, but you have to step on the LEFT peddle.[;)]

Why is that? So we won't get run into by a bunch of arrogant Yankees who should have stayed in their northern Utopia?
This gets a little old sometimes. I am 71 years old. I have always lived in NC. I remember years when we had a lot of snow, and I remember when we had 75? Christmas days. I have never been stuck in the snow, or had an accident due to snow or ice. I always got to work if work was open. I was a state LEO for 30 years. I had to be there.
People I saw wrecking in bad weather were not necessarily locals, just dumbazzes who didn't drive carefully for the conditions. Arrogant jerks mostly who didn't slow down, and thought they could drive as if it was July, and blamed the road workers for not clearing the roads fast enough for them to get where they want to go. Sometimes causing others to get stuck because of their stupid moves.
Seems to me when you hear of a multi car pile up in snow, it is usually in a Northern or Western state. And driving on snow is not like driving on ice, which we are more likely to have here.
So we don't have as much poor weather as other areas. So freaking what? We got BBQ. HA.

One could only hope,1911. I thought that maybe since the competitive fishing thing didn't turn out well, he may have lowered his prices!

    Maybe, maybe not.

When last we heard from him, he had branched out into 'Creative Taxidermy'. He might be pullin' in the big bucks from that. [8D]
