Here we go again [:(!] Start calling your reps! The Dems have a majority in the House and it's split in the Senate with 1 "Independent Democrat"

... would ban semi-automatic rifles that have a detachable magazine and a pistol grip beneath the barrel...

    Loophole Number 1.

Most factory "assault weapons" have a pistol grip beneath the stock and located far behind where the barrel attaches..

    Right??

And from the looks of it guns like say a Mini-14 would be exempt. I have a feeling if any of this passes it will be Option 2.

This will be interesting to watch. You have one hard core absolutist here on GB who lives about an hour from Olympia. But in all the times I have asked him what he has done to fight the crap going on up there, all I have ever gotten is crickets.

I will be happy to help in any way I can if someone needs help writing letters, editing, crafting statements to read at hearings. I am pretty good at that stuff.

I went up to Olympia 3 times to help write response/rebuttal statements as the hearings on I-594 we're underway. Being from Oregon, it wouldn't look good for me to testify, but I can sure help write things for my neighbors up North. Just holler.
