Power outlets in Jeep

Their is two outlets in the front. One is a 12 v Power Outlet (which has power all the time) and the other is a Auxiliary Power Out (that only has power if the keys turned on). Neither one of these work. The 12 v Power Outlet in the rear works. I was using the auxiliary outlet on the left for a dash cam. That way it turned the cam on and off with the key. Now that stopped working a few weeks ago. Today my uncle was playing around with the right hand one with a pair of needle nose and must have shorted it out. Now the rear one still works. But neither of the front ones work. Is their a fuse panel inside the Jeep that I don't see? The owners manuel just shows the fuse box under the hood that has some weird big fuses in it. NOW I did tell him to use the pliers in the left one to see if something was blocking it, but he accidentally stuck it into the 12v plug. [:(!]

Thanks. I'll bet that were the fuse is. Is there a cover plate that you have to remove to get to it? Were have ya been? Haven't see ya in awhile?

Just an FYI, Other fuse box in the Wrangler series is behind the Glove box.

Hidden fuses panels, one of the great ideas of car makers everywhere. They probably install them and the fuses before the outer body goes in, or the dash above, something like that.

Look for a 20amp. Most likely bright yellow.

I had a similar issue with my 04 Exploder had the front and rear console units go out 3 separate times. Fuse was okay maybe something else on the line but I didn't know. Cured the problem on my own by running wires directly to the battery. I did that about a year and a half ago and haven't had a reoccurrence since then.

Thanks sooooo much for the suggestions. Found the box under the dash. Replaced two 20amp yellow fuses and everything works great. WHEW[:)]
