FIL had a major stroke on Wednesday. He has been unresponsive since and his vitals are bottoming out and keep falling, they don't know how he is still alive and blood is muddling. The nursing home didn't take him to the hospital, his dr was in-house when it happened and he told them to keep him there as there was nothing the horsepistol could do. We are heading out tomorrow to Olton, TX. This the old curmudgeon we took care of for a year in Kress, TX. He refused to help with groceries, utilities, food-NOTHING. We spent $20,000 that year doing it. I just can't be mad at him though.
Prayers please for a quick and easy passing for him, a safe trip for us and for the family.
And please GOD keep me from killing one of my wife's family while I am there.

It is with a tear on my shirt that I say RIP to who I amm sure was a very special man.
My heartfelt condolences go to you sir and your family.
I've had to deal with aging/dying Texans, & it wasn't pretty when the whole famdamily crowded around to fight over the estate/gravesite/final bill reconciliation thing.
Wishing you and yours strength and condolences.
And that He use the event to draw all, closer to Himself.
