Always thought they were one of the most beautifully proportioned pistols I've ever seen. I need to get one. You did well.[8D]

They are very nice guns, a little to big for my hands but nice. I had a .40 for a bit.

Thanks friends. I went up the road a few miles to my dealer and emailed a copy of his license. I am ready for it and on the hunt for a couple of magazines.

Something about the smooth slide makes them attractive
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

I have one which is virtually identical and I am quite fond of it:

I think you did just fine on that purchase.

1987 is pretty early for a CZ-75. Check it for import markings. If there are none then you made a nice score on one brought in under the radar from Canada.

That is a "pre B" model, no firing pin safety. Better trigger on those than the "b" models.

As long as the barrel to bushing fit is tight it will be an excellent shooter.

They are a great pistol, you will enjoy it![:)]

I had a beautiful 75 B in polished stainless that I loved. But I sold it to my best bud because I wanted him to have it.
Then I saw the current prices on the stainless!!!

    Great pistols!

I got 3 of them in Germany in 1986 at a rod and gun club when I was there for REFORGER.

I went early to set up for my unit and I stayed behind to go to German Alpine climbing school. I hitched a ride back from Germany on a 141 to Goose bay then flew in a P3 to McCord. I had the guns in my Rucksack and nobody cared............AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the good old days.

I traded 2 in WA at the Pullyallup gunshow and I still have one.

Great guns one of the original Wonder 9's.

    Great Score!

Be advised the mags for the new ones don't work in the old ones.

Easy job to take a small round file to the inside of the mag well and the new and old style magazines will work. [:)]

My Every Day Carry Gun. EDCG.
There are lighter pistols, but for reliability it can't be beat
Pretty much stock configuration, other than a trigger job.

I've had had four of these over the years and still have the two, I brought hack from Germany While in the Army.

Magazines for the early ones are a bit hard to find , but CZ is currently offering magazines that will fit the old and new version.

    Good to know, thanks.

I have 5 for mine so I think I am ok. I am going to look for a YT Vid to see if they show you how.

    Those were popular in Iraq.

I fund a bunch of them on bad guys and in caches.

Most were Chromed but a few were blued. The Kurds liked them.
