That'* or miss with the Packers. They don't maintain a professional cheerleader squad these days.

Everybody keeps trying to reinvent the wheel over this National anthem. Trying to come up with something better just to appease a bunch of crybabies who don't even know what or why they are protesting. I have still seen no evidence of any institutional oppression of any minority which needs combatting.

The original premise behind this protest is based on the fallacy that PD's around the country are shooting people because they are black. The numbers just don't support that at all. Policing ourselves will always be a dicey proposition and mistakes can be disastrous, but to suggest this is a purely racial one is pure political fabrication.

You could at least get the story straight and not change terms.

The Packers will STAND for the national anthem, and will LINK ARMS to show unity in respect. And they urge fans to do the same.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

When they can all stand on the sidelines with one hand over their heart, with children at center field holding a banner that reads, Honor the Golden Rule, we will have recovered from this national disgrace of bringing divisive, agenda oriented racial politics to the work place. That said, I'm still finished with tuning in to pro-football, forever.

Not only that, a lot of them appear to me to have a legitimate look of sorrow on their face and in their body language...sincerity is hard to mask, and I hope that I am reading it right.

I agree with you Kimi. If it's not standing, facing the flag, and hand over heart then they might as well sit, kneel or do whatever disrespectful pose they want to take.

F the National *'s League. Never liked them. This is just yet another reason to never watch a game or redonculous superbowl halftime disgrace again.....

And people wonder why our country and youth are F'd up.

I've read that the national fairy league's own by laws require ALL players to be on the field for the National Anthem.
STANDING, helmet in left hand and right hand over heart.
