I always thought those were cool looking rifles. I remember when they were dirt cheap. Is 303 pricey ammo? Vdisregard, looks pricey
Me, too. The last one I bought cost me $10!

Hmmmnnn,..................
This would be particularly helpful to me, in the instant case, since I heretofore was not familiar with a jungle carbine. I kept scrolling back and forth to get an idea of what the gun looks like.
Regards and good luck with your listings.[:)]
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I can shine it up for you Ken. Paint the stock white, put a Glock sticker on it. Man oh man!![:I]quote:Originally posted by 84Bravo1

Your too good to me Ricci. [xx(]
I'm trying hard to fight the urge. I collect mil. issue bolt actions. Have always wanted to add a Jungle Carbine to the mix.
I'll probably just watch this one. If it does not get too crazy, I may come in toward the end.
Thanks for the heads up.

it was the 1st one I had ever seen was not even sure what it was or what ammo it used or If I could even find any ( I think the seller did not know either looking back on it he was just carrying in thru the gate and could not answer any questions ) I gave 25.00 for it some time in the mid 1970's
it was nothing great but a good conversation piece to have
Ricci, you offer some nice guns. If I can offer one bit of constructive criticism on your auctions, I think it would be of benefit to include at least one picture/image that shows the entire gun all in one image from a straight on side shot. With long guns, you obviously lose a lot of detail in that shot, but it's nice to be able to see the overall look of a gun.
This would be particularly helpful to me, in the instant case, since I heretofore was not familiar with a jungle carbine. I kept scrolling back and forth to get an idea of what the gun looks like.

Thank you Sir for taking the time to let me know your thoughts. Constructive criticism is very welcome. I have added two more photos please let me know if this is what you wanted. Again thank you, Ricci.quote:Originally posted by Mr. Perfect

While the two you just added are indeed helpful, neither is quite a straight on shot. The perspective you used sort of distorts the length and features, does that make sense? I appreciate how you have considered my 2 cents.[8D]

now your obligated to buy it [:D]
Cool rifles! I just picked one up a while back and love the way they kick the living snot out of you when you shoot them!
Seriously?
Nice looking gun, but can offer some advice? I do make a living buying and selling online, and have since 1987. (I sold on the newsgroups, aka "Usenet" back then.)
Go to ebay, and buy a "photography backdrop cloth". They are about $10-20. Spread that over your background area, and put your guns on that. They come in various colors. I usually buy blue and black. Red tends to bleed red color onto the items.
You'll have nicer pictures, and make more money. Good pictures equal good money! Trust me on this!
You don't have to spend a fortune, just buy a backdrop cloth and cover up all the junk (er.........stuff!) on your desk with it.
My desk is just as bad, trust me. I have a dedicated spot for taking pictures with lights and everything. You don't *have* to have all that, but it really helps.
Good luck on your listings.

Very accurate - not too big a kick IMO and I scored cases of .303 yrs ago cheap. Now GunBroker.com has had .303 Wolf reasonable lately and Snagged a case of that.
