RIP.
He marched to his own tune. He didn't try to be liked, he didn't suck up to the hollywood execs. He did his own thing.
He was accused of H-oMoFobia and being a racyst and he made some apologies but for the main part walked his own walk.
He was a wierdo in his own way but he helped a whole bunch of kids.
Jerry was a conservative and thought politics did not belong in acting/theater.

he did have a good run on this life
he did help a lot of kids over the years
and I do remember him and Sammy Davis being a coupe of the fast draw group in Hollywood but that was a different era
Mom lived near and went to Gersteins [?] soda fountain on Chancellor back when. They remembered when Jerry started there.
Remember Olympic Park in Irvington? [now scurvington] Same area and it WAS nice back when.
