Been up for an hour and a half, and just waiting for the wife and neighbors to get up so that I can make some noise and go out and start building a new reloading bench.....Then fill the slow cooker up with something good, followed by a few beers....Looks like a good day, considering it's going to be 40 degrees and rain....

I've been reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and saluting the new STARS and STRIPES out front.

Believe it or not, being congratulated by multiple Egyptian muslims as they are glad obummer is gone.
Many had great mistrust of him, believing that he was a strong supporter of the Muslim brotherhood here in Egypt.

Their jury is still out on The Donald over his vetting statements, but they wholeheartedly support his comments on ISIS /ISIL / or Dae'sh which ever you prefer to call it.
They want a safer region also.

Replacing the alternator on the Ford Cargo Van. It's been giving me problems for the last week. Finally broke down and got the tools out as the weather is operating. Need three hands.

I'm replacing our kitchen sink. With the same model. I started friday morning at 9:30. I'm not done yet. I quit on it for now. I can't get the hold-down clamps in. That's all I want to say about it.

Forget those crappy clamps. Silicone is your friend. You put enough silicon to hold it, it is NOT going to go anywhere!

We used to take all the bolts out of awnings that weighed 500+ lbs, and they'd stay stuck to the wall with the silicone! It is good stuff.

I have heard he is a real Norwegian Pleek, but he drinks good whiskey. [8D]

My day consisted of trying to find horizontal spaces in my office. I'm 2 or 3 campaigns, an estate, and several projects behind in filing, cleanup, and shredding. Luckily, I have whiskey. [:D]

made some applesauce and blueberry/applesauce and did some prep so tomorrow morning I can fire up the pressure cooker and can it all. Then I can work on cleaning out my work van so I'm ready for Monday.

There happens to be a gun show tomorrow.

Thanks Merc. The old sink must have had crappy sealer because it let water run under it til it rusted out the tracks that the hold down clamps slid into. Id find chunks of rusted metal down under the sink and know it was time to change it out. I think I'll take your suggestion and load it up with good silicone.

I'm laughing, because I know how frustrating it can be.

Last year, I replaced my kitchen sink, and added a farm style elevated dispenser, seperate single control and soap dispenser. As well as replacing the bathroom faucet. All with Moen units.

I was all cussed out, when done.

    Up at 0600.

Got coffee, checked AWOS at the airports. Went to KGAS airport to help buddy install a car lift for his Aeronca Champ so he can park his new VANS RV-7 underneath it rather than renting two hangers. [:p][^]

Then I went flying for a couple of hours. Clouds were high enough to make it a nice day to see the sights of Meigs, Athens and Jackson Counties of Ohio.

    Stared at cows.
Greased, oil change and fuel filter on my dozer.
Pushed trees with said machine. Clearing a field overgrown with locust trees.
    Stared as some more cows.
    Life is good.[:)]
