What was for dinner?

Been a bit since I've seen one of these... so:
Neighbor roasted a few chickens on a spit, made some homemade stove top stuffing (not packaged, real stuff) mushy peas, and alfredo shell noodles. Gave me a plate. I reciprocated with a bowl of chili I made yesterday.
Us unemployed, hungry, bored fellas gotta stick together. Was good chicken (and for that matter good chili). He, his wife, myself, and one other fella kinda take turns making dinner.

+1000 Joe!![:D]
As to the OP's original question.I had asparagus and eggs on a fresh Chicago roll for "dinner"(1400 hrs)
Supper was some of my home made spaghetti sauce with 4 nests of tagliatelle egg pasta and garlic bread made from a "Chicago roll".
Nice side salad of Romaine lettuce with sweet Georgia Vidalia onion, carrot strips and some "grape" tomatoes sliced in half.
I use "7-seas",mix your own salad dressing to which I add extra garlic powder and fresh ground black pepper...[^]
Not bad for a guy that's only been cooking for about 40 years...[:p]

Pretty ordinary.
Dessert however, was fantastic: Everlasting Syllabub, with Red Raspberries and Red Currants from the Garden! (Didn't last long at all!)
