Not taking anything away from the fella, but so many of these celebrities that seem to have a major impact on other folks, I have never even heard of.

At any rate, I hope he beat his demons, and finds peace in the afterlife.

Watched them live last Friday night at River fest in council tucky Iowa.

They headlined, with sum 41, pretty reckless, and a few other bands.

Saw them back in the nineties, and they were way better last Friday.

Never considered STP, Soundgarden or Audioslave "grunge bands" tho.

STP were called copycats because they were from San Diego and came a few years after Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana and were not a part of the Seattle grunge scene. They also lacked some of the gloominess of the Seattle sound.

Having kids that were "in their time" during the '90's I can relate to the band Soundgarden and some of their music. Not knowing the individual names of the band's members.

I did like the sound of that one! Not so much NIN (Nine Inch Nails) which also rings a few bells.

The young fella had a fine voice and much talent! Sad he is gone.
