Covered by warranty in the nick of time

Our 3 year/36k mile warranty on our Camry expires in 3 weeks. Yesterday the battery died. Neighbor jumped me off so I could get it to the dealer. Battery replaced---no charge. 3 weeks from now that would be $200 or more out of my pocket. Just luck.[:D][:D]

    How should we know?
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

That's what good clean honest living does for you, ben. Well, perhaps! I sold my 2011 Malibu to my BIL last May when I bought the Silverado. Great car, 110K miles and all I did was change oil since new. 2 weeks later the battery died. I told him it was covered under Honest Jeff's Used Cars and Bait Shop warranty. :)
It's too late for me, save yourself.

Glad it happened then and not later.

I can remember when a decent car battery cost 30.00 and change.

    Why so pricey now?

I am surprised your warranty covered a battery. Typically brakes, tires, batteries aren't covered. My GM bumper to bumper didn't cover a battery on my Tahoe...basterds [V]

I replace mine every 5 years?

Have been burnt a couple of times?

I can remember buying a brand new 30\30 Winchester model 94 for 99 bucks at the local hardware store![:p]

1000 dollars today is the new 100 dollar bill. Heck! It may even be the new 50 dollar bill.[V][:(]
