How do you like the crimp on copper fittings? How do they hold up,how long do they last?

Not talking pex,or shark bite.

I use my pro press tool a lot. Very convenient for doing water heaters and softeners or emergency repairs to get water shut off. Less money to solder copper fittings but plusses and minuses to all kinds of joints.

I like em, can press fit a repair without the water completely off so far they seem to be holding up well. Just had plumber press fit a 1 1/4 copper repair over the OR, was in and out in 15 minutes

Next week getting a 2 inch meter press fit to a 2 inch cold water cooling tower feed line so I can get a deduct from Sewer
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

The plumbers we use at work started using them about 4 years ago.
    None have leaked yet.
Quick, easy, and no chance of fire like sweating a joint.

The difference between a plumber and a pipe fitter?
If you put a plumber and a pipe fitter in a barrel of poo and swing a baseball bat at their head, the plumber will duck.

I always thought that the difference between a mason and a plumber was only about an inch of butt crack![:D]
