A friend just called me asking about the value of bound volumes of the magazine. I looked online and saw some being sold for a wide variety of prices. I think his collection goes back into the 40's. Any ideas on what to do with them?

I bought the set from 1952 the year I was born. On ebay for $65.00. If that helps at all.

never know what they will bring. postage stinks on that stuff but they do have a book rate it just takes way longer to get there. List them with all info you have wait.

I find old American rifleman mags and other mags, cut the ads out, frame them, and either hang them in my gun room or sell them on ebarf Some are worth a lot of money, depending on the topic. The Colt Python ad, I sold for 30 bucks. Oakie

I have a couple complete years of Guns & Ammo from the 60's. They bring back some memories when I look through them.

You can't use book rate for magazines.

I had several years worth stacked up and taking up my limited storage space.

I blacked out my name & address on the covers and dropped them off in the waiting room at my local VA clinic.
