Our range guns are pretty reliable but like every other machine everything breaks. I checked the Colt 9mm AR15 last night and found the firing pin broken. I think I have replaced the firing pin spring before but this is the first pin. It has run flawlessly and has just over 20,000 rounds fired.
One of my guys brought me our CZ PO9 this morning with a broken trigger return spring. This pistol has 2900 rounds launched and it too has run great.
Don't know if anyone cares just thought I would report.

The AR has a firing pin spring?
He said it's a 9mm version so it's a non standard upper at least.

Yeah....I have never disassembled a pistol caliber AR. Just wondering.
