    Galco
El Paso Saddlery (I love their Street Combat)
    Mitch Rosen
    CCS Gunwear.
If I'm not mistaken S&W actually sells holsters on their website too. As far as your shape not working for iwb you CAN do it with the correct holster and belt with no issues. I'm a fat 5'8" dude and have no problems iwb a SIG P250 Compact in this CCS Gunwear holster and the SIG is twice the size as the Shield. I also carry a XDs .45 in the same type of holster and no problems at all.

Typically what we think is irrelevant. Seems to me you have to buy 3-4 to find what you like. I'm a Gould & Goodrich fan but knowing how you want to carry is the first step. IWB works for me...but maybe not for you. For first time carriers the cheap nylon stuff is ok to determine the type of carry, then invest in good stuff

    I have two top favorites.

In leather, very high quality and not cheap: Purdy Gear.

    In Kydex, Cooks Holsters.

    Both have web sites.

    Don Hume H721OT

I also like the JIT from Don Hume, both are under $50, conceal well and are good holsters.

If you want to pay a little more I really like my El Paso Saddlery Street Combat holster. It conceal very good is easy to wear, and draws well. I carry a Glock 19 or 32 in it all day with no problems at all.

It is a pancake holster and it lined. It retains the pistol well with no snaps or buttons to push. I used to like Kydex for plastic guns but I have gone back to leather. They run just over $60

The secret is a good belt.

I've been liking my Desantis speed scabbard. Can be worn strong side or cross draw.

I have a Bianchi 111 Cyclone for my 1911 which allows me to carry right hand strong side or right hand cross draw which I prefer when I'm driving...it has two belt loop configurations that allow the switch. Well made and very nice leather and swede lined...just like the one shown by m88.375.

    Alien Gear
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Not a chance, IMO a holster has to cover the trigger. One of those with a Glock would be a recipe to ventilate your privates.
