Verify a check has cleared your bank with out calling the bank?

We received a statement wifey said seems late, Service in August and statement in December. Checkbook says it was paid which is not a 100% verification.

Could you get 100% verification via the internet?

Rude answers mean no you cannot do it.

My credit union will show me a pic of the canceled check online...I "assume" most banks do...

Wells Fargo you can see image of cleared check.

Your result may vary, according to the bank you use.

Sure. I have 2 banks with checking accounts. Both have click to view cancelled check. Shows both sides, when it was cashed and who endorsed it.

Even if you couldn't "see" the check on line can't you see that it cleared payment?

I figure if the statement show it as processed it was cleared.

I can with my bank. No idea if you can with yours, so I bet if you asked them the question they have a better answer.

We can print a mini statement at our banks walk up window. It will show the check number, payee name and date it cleared. You can also walk in and get a printed copy of one or all checks that have cleared.
