had the same old issues for the last week or two, shortness breath, severe fatigue, so back to VA for stress test this morning, they said no coffee, that is the hardest thing, hours drive this early and no coffee, symptoms are about the same as before the bypass, hope there isn't another blockage, don't really want to get gutted again, chest is just now feeling good again. gotta do what you gotta do though....
just got back, passed the tread mill part but when I sat down to catch my breath the EKG went haywire, headed to pittsburg for catherization as soon as they have an opening, doctors are afraid of another blockage or a possible partial/full collapse of one of the bypasses.. will have to do another full cardio workup in pittsburg since it hasn't been a full year since the heart surgery, guess it is back to fighting for sickpay again as I am off at least the next two weeks....[V]

But they have ways now that do not require cracking you back open, cause that was the part I too dreaded and still have pain over.
Read my "Spent the Day in the Hospital Emergency room" thread.
I understand where your coming from.
