They're relatively easy to rebuild, get yourself a sonic parts cleaner. You can buy them at Harbor freight relatively cheap. The rebuild kit should be less than $10 , what is included in the rebuild kit is a couple of mash filters and a few O-rings. Take your injector and take off all the O-rings unscrew the end and take the mesh filters out of it, then put the injector in the sonic parts cleaner with the degreaser, I prefer brake cleaner. Making sure that you DO NOT get the electric tips submerged it, turn on the Sonic parts cleaner and let it run for about 12 hours which should clean all the gunk out of the interior of the injector. This only works if it's just plugged, if it is An electrical problem it is best to just buy a new one and replace it. You can tell if it needs to be replaced because of an electrical issue or not with an ohms meter after you remove it.

At that cost it would be better to just buy those than waste time rebuilding and hoping everything went right. How much is the rebuild kit for that engine.

Also with those you will need to trick the computer its easy to do. Take the Positive wire off the Battery and lever it off for 24 hour or with the positive off touch it to the negative. Which will drain the capacitors in the system and resetting the computer.

At about $12 per kit those new ones are cheaper.

I had a bad injector on my geo. THey did full clean and test on all 4 for about $120

I found a full set (8) for less than $80 : New with warrenty on Fleabay ! as soon as I can ( $$$ ) i will order them ,,, got a buddy ( a real mechanic ) who is gonna install them for $50.00 .....
