Thompson/Center Contender in 45/70 govt. (Bought right here, on the other side)
Thompson scope, super 14" barrel with a muzzle break.
Shooting Federal Fusion 300 grain.
That is what happens when you have Moccasin Creek running behind your house.
Black snakes gets a free pass. Poisonous snakes must die.
okay it was an 8-ring but no one was looking.
Probably should have sprayed the area I shot it in down with bleach too.
Five Prairie Dogs
.45 colt shotshell.
Whooooeeeee
But I did kill a buck mule deer with a .44 magnum about 25ish years ago
too.
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
A big old buck * that was killing and eating my wifes pet chickens
I gave him a ride and free pass once after trapping him but he came back about a week later I caught him with one in his mouth so no reasonable doubt ,
Plus, they drop a mixture of sawdust and saliva on my pickup. If left on very long it is VERY tough to get off.
Range, around 20 feet.
Weapon, Walther PP in .22 LR caliber.
I'm ok with that.
I deer hut almost exclusively with a handgun and have for the last 20 years or so.
My go to guns are:
_Thicker close terrain S&W 629 classic 6 1/2 barrel 44mag loaded with hand cast 250gr KT Semi wad cutter and 21 grs of 2400.
-More open terrain where I might get a longer shot I used a T/Contender super 14 in 30-30 AI loaded with 150gr Hornaday bullets.
Both have Leupold or Burris 2x handgun scopes.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Glock 20
