Im looking for a good scope mount for an Ak-47, or Mak 90. I have heard Mixed things about the ones that replace the dust covers, that they move and such, i seem to like the look of those best. I want one with a slim profile not something big and godly, but i will take something that is stable if it costs the looks.Any suggestion would be a big help..
Thanks
Some examples

You'd be better off getting one of those V-mak (?) gas-stube mounts as that is more stable than the receiver cover. AK's don't really deliver accuracy very worthy of a scope IMHO. If you get an SAR or similar they have the receiver rail to accept the Soviet POSP type scopes.

KINGJOEY is probably right about the use of a scope on an AK. I suggest this link, maybe it's what KING was trying to remember...(ULTIMAK)

    http://www.ultimak.com/links.htm

They build stuff that looks and functions good. All kinds of mounts...

Then I'd stick an EO tech 552 on it...

    VIOLA!
