What is the maximum capacity of a magazine that can be shipped to New York? Is it 5rd. or 7rd.?
We do not ship to New York city, but are other areas restricted?
Thank you in advance.

We can have 10 round magazines in the Kingdom. I'm not aware of any restrictions on magazines by city / county.

Correction. Ordinary law abiding citizens may possess magazines of no greater than 10 round capacity.

Ship in any size magazine you want. Law enforcement and military are exempt from the restriction.

That's correct. 10 rounds or less are perfectly legal. Anything higher constitutes a felony. [:(!]

With Cuomo's re-election, there's more to come. Stay tuned for "The SAFE Act - Part Deux". [:(!]

I hate to use up one of the ten responses allowed under "Ask The Experts" forum, but the question should be, "What is the maximum capacity magazine that a NY resident is allowed to possess? ". AFAIK there are no laws that regulate the size of magazines that can be shipped, unless you are an FFL.

Yes, there is a law. Maximum mag capacity is 10 rounds but maximum carry is 7. Exceptions are allowed for 10 rounds at recognized shooting ranges.

    Scroll down to "magazines": http://www.governor.ny.gov/nysafeact/gun-owners

You need to re-read my post. There is a NY law that regulates magazines in NY but there is no law that regulates the size of a magazine that I can ship.

That was the point I was trying to make.

No, but aiding in the commission of a felony could get you a visit by Bloomberg's gang and a feature on the 11:00 news! [;)]
