Seeking experienced appraisal of approx sale value of this Colt 1860 Army s/n 135Ks. Function normal, no finish but a hint of frame color, fairly complete scene & grip cartouche visible both sides. Will probably sell locally.

Approx number, probable range, etc. appreciated but not sale advice.

Any dollar amount given here will not be accurate, if you are only going to sell locally.

What amount will your "local" area allow?

Manufactured in 1863. It looks like it's been heavily cleaned but maybe it's the camera flash.

Do all of the serial numbers match, including the wedge and cylinder? How are the barrel markings?

All of the serial numbers match, including the wedge and cylinder. The barrel markings are sharp & clear. Cylinder pegs are beat but still up maybe 1/32". I got an offer of $1800 for it.

Coincidentally, I was going to say $1,600-$1,800! That's a fair offer.

$1500 - $1600 was what I was thinking as I was looking at the pictures.
