How does one take the follower out of the magazine body on a Remington 760 magazine so you can clean it better?

I'm not sure but it looks like it has a hole in the side of the body. Press the follower down and insert like a hat pin in the hole. The goal is to trap the W spring with the pin. Or it could be welded/glued together and not really made to be taken apart.

I looked at one of my 760 mags, and it looks like they don't come apart. It looks like the spring and follower were installed, and then the top lips were formed, so now they're rolled in over the follower.

It is possible to remove the follower by depresing only one end and 'work' it up through the large part of the opening. you usualy don't need to do this.
